Sequencer: Pump Alternation Relay
MODULE FOR ALTERNATING PUMPS IN PRESSURIZATION SYSTEMS
Sequencer is a module designed to automatically control and alternate the operation of two electric pumps within pressurization systems.
The device manages the alternation between the pumps, helping distribute the workload evenly and supporting a more balanced system operation.
When demand increases, both pumps can be activated through a second pressure switch.
In case of failure of one pump, the system automatically enables the other, ensuring continuity of operation.
The system can be integrated with a low-level float switch, which stops operation in case of water absence to protect the pumps from dry running.
Sequencer is CE certified and has an IP20 protection rating.
Applications of Sequencer pump alternation relay
SEQUENCER IS SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATIONS WHERE TWO PUMPS NEED TO BE MANAGED IN A COORDINATED WAY:
- autoclave systems with dual pumps
- residential and civil pressurization systems
- installations requiring continuity of service
Features
The device manages the alternation between two pumps, distributing work cycles for more uniform usage.
A second pressure switch allows both pumps to operate when one pump alone is not sufficient to maintain the required pressure.
If one pump fails, the system automatically activates the other, ensuring continuous water supply.
Connecting a float switch allows the system to shut down in the absence of water, protecting the pumps from dry-run operation.
The module can be used for control in traditional autoclave system to be built, only needing additional standard components such as contactors and thermal protection.
